During more than 30 years of research, I have cooperated with specialists from different geological branches. Despite the different geological opinions and interpretations, we are great friends. We are a big family because we all carry the Earth deep in our hearts.

As part of my professional activities and collaborations, I have visited unique geological sites and shared my impressions with colleagues and friends:

  • Rome and Tivoli – Famous for their travertine quarries, these towns are rich in both historical and geological traditions.

  • Etna, Volcano, and Lipari – Marvelous, fantastic, and exciting. Words fall short. Obsidian, nature, people, sulfur, smoke, and vibrant vegetation – a truly unforgettable experience.

  • Sahara Desert – Explored in the context of geological mapping, offering vast and inspiring geological insights.

  • My esteemed guests from the University of Innsbruck – Prof. Peter Tropper and his students represent a promising new generation dedicated to continuing the geological tradition.

  • Excursion preparation for the KBGA Congress – In collaboration with Prof. A. Grubić and Prof. D. Rabrenović.
